The story
I remember that one day, that one day a week we got our kids spa day.
Being born in East Africa it's normal for all the neighbourhood kids in the toddler age group to come together at dinner times and bath times. I remember the women preparing huge tubs, filling them with lukewarm water, some type of herb and placing them outside.
One by one every child would have their own turn to get pampered. This is a thought that ran through my mind when I was shopping for a new bath product and reading the ingredients on the back of the packages.
For two years I had been counting the amount of chemicals in my bath product before I bought them to make sure that I bought the product with fewer chemicals. I've stopped buying bath products and decided to make my own Natural and Sustainable Body Soaps.
My soap concept differs from other natural soaps out there.
Mine are inspired by that Sunday toddler spa day.
Each 'Skin Culture' soap is made out of natural ingredients. What makes it special, is the fact that each soapbar has at least one natural ingredient that is used in Africa as a beauty secret.
Besides from this very important aspect, my soaps are Palm-oil free, Vegan and Paraben free.
